From Buenos Aires, in Argentina find THE OCEAN. A 4-member indie band formed by Edward Capparelli (voice), Javier Tainta (bass), Leandro Castellot (Guitars) and Sebastian Quintanilla (Drums) came together in 2011 quienen.
Delivering a "mix" of rock from the '60s and '70s which sound became "mellifluous". There is a seductive soundscape that disperses like a fog in the room, intricate output with which the listener wants to be interlaced. Instrumental mergers have their space and time to develop as the songs take their course.
The Ocean creatively has put together a range of influences and have been able to turn them into a structure that is warm to the ears begging for more, while said their songs do not wander into the darkness.
I'm afraid that they remain forever as a band without representation as so many in South America desmerecidamente are. The South American indie scene, particularly in Argentina is thriving. It is very difficult for those bands to win local public due to the large amount of "State regimentation" (each assume what you think, do not do politics here).
Unfortunately, deaf ears, of much of the world to some of the most creative and capable musicians playing today.
The Ocean has every ingredient to make a mark in the music world and I hope not only the Indie Bands Blog readers who will recognize the magnificent craftsmanship when "blowing" the speaker is about.

The idea was to take new composed songs with an acoustic guitar and basically using software like Reason, Cubase and some plugins, leaving behind the limitation logic of a rock band in regards to instrumentation. The first songs of those years were full of synthesizers, drums sequenced, sequenced low and in many cases even the guitars were the result of "perillear 'some software synth.
